Express Lane Technician

South Trail Chrysler is looking to hire an express lane/lube technician!

The Express Lane/Lube Technician performs work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.

Job Duties

• Lubricate all moving vehicle parts with specified lubricants
• Operate hand or compressed air powered grease gun to inject grease into units (springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles)
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, shackles and rear axle housings
• Drain oil from crankcase and replenish with required amount
• Replace air and oil filters
• Check and adjust pressure of tires
• Rotate, repair, and replace tires, when necessary
• Follow company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures
• Comply with required health and safety regulations
• Perform any other duties as required

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Solid understanding of automotive industry
• Basic mechanical skills
• Ability to lift tires and other heavy equipment
• Good visual acuity to assess work performance
