Automotive Technician

South trail Chrysler is seeking a skilled experienced mechanic to join our service team.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and repair vehicles mechanical issues
• Perform regular maintenance, brakes, suspension and alignments etc.
• Identify, resolve electrical, media system malfunctions
• Perform engine, transmission repairs
• Documenting well written diagnosis, cause, remedy stories
• Maintaining a clean workspace environment according to industry standards and safety guidelines
• Keeping logbook documented for warranty repairs
• Diesel experience considered an asset but not required

Requirements:

• Minimum 1year journeyperson/red seal certification (out of province, cvip certification is an asset but not required)
• Solid understanding of automotive operating systems – experience with CDK is an asset
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid Alberta drivers license and clean record
