Sales Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated, performance-driven Sales Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and has exceptional lead management expertise. This role is
ideal for a strong leader who understands that today’s automotive sales success is built on
speed, accountability, digital engagement, and disciplined follow-up.
You will be responsible for managing the sales team through optimizing lead conversion
strategies and ensuring a seamless customer journey from first inquiry to final delivery.
Given the nature of this role, selected candidates will be required to complete a brief video
submission as the first stage of our hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound and outbound lead activity (digital, phone, showroom)
- Monitor CRM daily to track appointment, follow-up, and closing ratios
- Be the second point of contact for high-priority or escalated leads
- Implement strategies to increase appointment show rates and lead-to-sale conversion
- Forecast monthly sales objectives and adjust strategies in real time
- Monitor gross profit performance and volume targets
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of Sales Consultants to meet and exceed monthly targets
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales professionals
- Create a culture of professionalism, and customer-first thinking
- Facilitate weekly sales and training meetings
- Review inventory positioning to align with lead demand and marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with Marketing and F&I to improve lead quality and penetration rates
- Handle complex customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency
- Ensure the team delivers a transparent sales experience
- Uphold dealership policies, compliance standards, and brand guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of automotive sales experience with proven leadership success
- Demonstrated expertise in lead management and CRM accountability
- Experience managing a team of 5–10+ sales professionals
- Strong understanding of digital retailing and online customer behavior
- High level of organization, urgency, and follow-through
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate metrics into action
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- AMVIC license is considered an asset.
