Lot Attendant

South Trail Kia is seeking a Full-Time Lot Attendant to join their team! Your efficiency and passion for automotive customer service along with effective teamwork will allow you to excel in this role. Responsibilities:

•      Park inventory in appropriate areas and ensure they are always clean and presentable

•      Inspect new vehicles delivered to dealership for transport damage

•      Input keys into the key system with careful attention to accuracy

•      Check inventory to ensure doors are locked and windows closed

•      Periodically travel to other dealers to pick up inventory for dealer trades

•      Assist when needed while fueling/moving/washing units

•      Ensure lot is clean and removed of any debris/garbage

•      Vacuum and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of automobiles

•      Maintain Car Wash

•      Performs other duties as required

Requirements:

•      Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

•      Provide a clean drivers abstract report and immediately notify management of any change in its status

•      High school diploma preferred

•      Must wear CSA approved steel toed shoes

•      Excellent teamwork, attention to detail and interpersonal skills

•      Good organization and time management to complete multiple priorities and tasks efficiently

•      Self-motivated and able to take initiative for tasks around the dealership

•      Ability to respect and value all individuals with sensitivity to diversity and inclusion

•      Dependability, reliability, and trustworthy

Position Description

•      This position is required to work outside in various weather conditions and temperatures and may involve repeated physical movement and exertion. Attendants are expected to wear appropriate clothing for various conditions and temperatures.
