Parts Technician

Mercedes-Benz Country Hills is seeking a Experienced Parts Advisor with  automotive dealership experience. The candidate must also be a dynamic and progressive-thinking individual that is able to adapt and embrace the positives of this ever changing industry. Your customer service experience would be an asset to this role. In addition to assisting customers with their parts needs, the “front of house” role you will be the face and key in person contact for our retail parts and lifestyle collection.

Job Duties

  • Promptly meet and greet parts customers and listen to requests for certain parts and accessories
  • Offer and evaluate solutions in parts and accessories aligning with customer needs
  • Provide accurate quotes for all parts or accessories recommended
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of inventory - parts, accessories, and lifestyle products
  • Manage and drive sales of lifestyle collection products to retail dealership customers
  • Assist customers by phone or over the counter offering consistent, high levels of service.
  • Process daily customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions
  • Oversees and participates in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing and issuing of goods including supplies, equipment for the purpose of assuring shipments are prepared for delivery and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

  • Look up and locate parts in inventory or order parts from suppliers
  • Assist in preparing for, and counting of physical inventory
  • Receives stock and non-stock items for the purpose of ensuring specifications, quantity and quality of orders are correct.


Requirements

· Automotive parts experience is required 

· CDK experience is an asset

· Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.

· Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

· Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and e-mail.

· Attention to detail in all areas of work.

· Strong work ethic, integrity, and positive team attitude.
