Technician!

ultimate service experience. The Service Technician is responsible for working
attentively in maintaining, repairing, and servicing customer vehicles to
ensure safety and customer satisfaction as well as overall department success.

Job Duties:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
- Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work
is required.
- Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.
- Perform road test and safety inspections.
Successful Candidates Possess:
· High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
· Automotive service technician trade certification is compulsory in
Alberta
· 1-2 years of direct work experience in automotive repairs and service.
· Extensive knowledge of different automobiles and their service needs.
· Professional demeanor.
· Efficient problem solving skills.
· Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and
specifications.
· Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
· Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
· High level of integrity and work ethic.
· Must possess a valid driver's license.
· Up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts and their functions.
· Is able to effectively communicate automotive issues clearly.
· Is able to work independently, managing his or her time and work flow.
