Eastside Kia is expanding and looking for a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to add to their team of professionals. In this role, your strong organizational skills and sales background will allow you to excel in this role. This individual will require a thorough knowledge of vehicles to assist in vehicle purchasing. The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist uses all reasonable methods of prospecting for new and used vehicle customers (businesses) on a daily basis, via electronically, phone and personal contact at the dealership

Responsibilities

·        Purchase wholesale vehicle units aligning with department objectives.

·        Aid in preparing for, and supports in transporting units and receiving units.

·        Send out purchase orders and follow up for work that involves reconditioning units.

·        Work closely with the Sales Managers and Service Manager to reach department deliverables and build rapport with service customers

o   Maintain and retain the existing base of clientele while executing a growth mode through building rapport with onsite customer base.

o   Purchase used vehicles and sell used vehicles; determine rates, buy back values and wholesale values.

o   Comprehend, keep current, and comply with laws that affect leasing agreements.

o   Respond to walk-in and telephone inquiries.

o   Attend and participate in training and sales meetings as required.

o   Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures.

o   Perform any other duties as required.

Qualifications

·        Detailed knowledge of all aspects of vehicle acquisition.

·        Strong people & motivational skills.

·        Effective administrative and organization expertise.

·        Computer literate.

·        Dependable customer retention ability.

·        Previous sales experience in a related field.

·        Strong organizational and time management abilities.

·        Sound salesmanship capabilities.
